# ElevenLabs

Use your own ElevenLabs account for the voice of voice agents

ElevenLabs handles the voice only — speech synthesis and recognition; the text model above stays the agent's brain. Connect your own key and your ElevenLabs voices appear in the agent's voice settings.

## Before you start [#before-you-start]

* **An ElevenLabs API key** (`sk_…`) from your ElevenLabs profile.

## Connect [#connect]

1. **Integrations** > **Add Integration** > **ElevenLabs**.
2. Paste the **API Key** (and an **API URL** only if you use a non-default endpoint), then click **Connect**.

| API Key | Your ElevenLabs key                           |
| API URL | Optional, default `https://api.elevenlabs.io` |

Voices are synced from your account. One ElevenLabs account per workspace.
